"Autumn GeekFest" - as it were
In early November, a conference of software developers Autumn GeekFest was held in Irkutsk. The event was held in the auditorium of the Institute of Energy Systems them. L. A. Melentyeva SB RAS.

A lot of preliminary work was carried out, which was made possible thanks to the support of my wonderful friends from the Delovaya Network - Irkutsk and ISPsystem companies - these companies became sponsors of the conference. Among the friends of the conference, Oracle, Megaplan and ISEM SB RAS are also noted. The Irkutsk city site IRK.ru provided great information support for the conference.
After the previous conference, I really wanted to make sure that after the event the participants had something material left. dvan , who is the author of one of the popular in narrow circles comic “ Hello ASU ”, made an excellent poster, as it turned out later, she graced some of the IT-offices of the city of Irkutsk (a small copy is located above). Of course, just like the previous time, we planned to present our wonderful poster to each conference participant.
But we did not stop at that. A large box was made with wonderful T-shirts, which were distributed to the speakers for interesting questions.
In general, it turned out quite a decent bunch of everything necessary for the conference. In addition to the above, wonderful girls collected bags with razdatkoy, sort of welcome pack.
True, intelligence has shown that it was somewhat unsafe to leave girls to pack packages in their own office in complete solitude +). They fool around.
Immediately after the start of registration, the hall was filled with conference participants a little more than completely - part continued to stand stubbornly for almost the entire conference (as there were not enough seats). One of the drawbacks of our hall is that it quickly became hot, and the hope for a cold autumn did not materialize. Autumn brought a number of force majeure circumstances: two of our speakers could not take part in the conference at the last moment.

In between the performances was a wonderful coffee break. On which, judging by the letters, reviews, two people have found a job.
And during the speeches, many conference participants were entertained by using Twitter and its broadcast, organized with the help of a big friend of the conference - svartalf . Although some people abused tweet tape, sometimes the speakers were distracted from speaking. We will think about how to avoid it next time.
