Today the site has launched a new completely rewritten (in ActionScript 3, uses Flex 3 compiler; renders using MapCSS and RichardF's halcyon
rendering library; and of course this is the Open Source) version of the online data editor Potlatch.
Everyone is invited to try editing - all of a sudden it’s much more convenient for
you personally (and for those who have never had OSM rules, this is a great opportunity to register and start with everyone =)) To select Potlatch 2, you must hover your mouse over the “edit” link and wait - a window with three links opens (on Potlatch 1, Potlatch 2 and JOSM).
Potlatch 2 has an interesting feature. It is possible without any help to connect almost any map or satellite images, however, I personally managed to connect only Google Maps. But I remind you that
you can’t use Google’s snapshots , you can only use Bing, Yahoo! and space images.

And the old editor did not clean up anywhere, and it is still available. If you like it, you can continue to use it.
