The first navigation system for Samsung Galaxy Tab

There are more and more applications for our Samsung Galaxy Tab. So, the Progorod navigation system from Sidicom was recently announced. For the first time in Russia, it is fully adapted to work with the Galaxy Tab. Download it on the Android Market will be available in December this year.



The multiUI interface allows you to adapt the system "Progorod" for any screen resolution without loss of quality and image proportions. The user downloads and launches the universal installer, which automatically determines the screen resolution of the device and installs the corresponding version of the navigation system. In the case of the Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet computer, the program will be installed with interface elements optimized for a resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels.

"Progorod", by the way, can be completely free for users. To do this, you need to send at least once a month sets of tracks of movement of the object, periodically received from the satellite GPS-navigation receiver built into the device, together with the time stamp of their receipt to the Progorod server. These data will be used to adjust the speed profiles of the roads and improve the accuracy of the navigation system.
