Mobile Internet audience in Russia approached 10 million

Now TNS has shown the results of the study of the very mobile Internet audience in Russia.

The monthly audience of mobile Internet in Russia is 9.4 million people (16% of the urban population over 12 years old and 28% of Russian Internet users)
2.6 million mobile Internet users go online daily
Most of the time, from the mobile Internet, Russians communicate in messengers (63%), watch the weather (48%), communicate in social networks (44%), use search and mail (43%)
Among Muscovites, mobile Internet services are dominated by traffic jams (23%), mail use (24%), tusovka (20%) and work (17%)
In the regions, mobile Internet is used mainly for reading news and work (24%), as well as communication in instant messengers (23%)
Most often, men use the Internet for work and orientation in space, while women prefer to communicate.
