Semi-official update to Android 2.2 for HTC Legend

While waiting for the new firmware, I tried to follow all the news on this topic and finally it happened.

The other day, the update of the HTC Legend firmware to version 2.2 has become available for users of the Vodafone operator.

Accordingly, almost immediately, the guys from MoDaCo rebuilt it, removed unnecessary vodafone's applications, added their own, including the super user, and posted it .

When installing Wipe is not necessary. All the settings and applications I have left untouched.

The main notable changes for me are:
- there is a push api, it remains only to wait for the appropriate applications;
- api allows you to collect network statistics, respectively, such a wonderful application like Network TrafficStats will work;
- improved google maps and market;
- it is possible to transfer some applications to the memory card without additional manipulations (the “Angry Birds” flew there first, but skype could not be transferred). Only after rebooting the phone, the shortcuts of the transferred applications are updated for about five minutes;
- they also say that you can install Adobe flash 10.1, but I don’t need it, so I didn’t check it;
- there was support for "live wallpaper";
- Dalvik JIT appeared, but I did not notice a gain in speed;
- finally on the phone earned a LED flashlight;
- there is auto-update applications;
- now WiFi tethering support is available immediately;

PS: I often make a lot of mistakes when writing, so don’t kick much if you see errors that are critical to you, write to the PM - I’ll fix it.
