Amazon has created its own online film studio.

So, the studio has a website on which authors can upload their scripts. Then the scenarios are evaluated by Internet users, you can rate and comment. Scenarios with the highest ratings and positive reviews will already use the producers to create films. By the way, you can upload your own movies, with a minimum duration of 70 minutes.

Each month, Amazon Studios will allocate 100 thousand, awarding the best film samizdat. In addition, it will be allocated and 20 thousand dollars to award the best writers, whose works have received the maximum user rating. Plus, every year there will be a prize of one million dollars for the creators of the best film and 100 thousand dollars for the best script.

According to Amazon management, the company hopes in this way to help filmmakers really make high-quality films with an original plot. With Warner Bros. Pictures have already signed a cooperation agreement.

Another goal of this project is to “open” the film industry for everyone, since Hollywood, according to Amazon, is closed to the majority, is a kind of “thing in itself”.
