Hatsune Miku Live Concert

Japan was overwhelmed by another wave of love for a synthetic pop star. The name Hatsune Miku, like her voice, is made up of several components - Hatsu (first), ne (sound) and miku (future).

Hatsune Miku was created in 2007 and quickly gained popularity in Japan. But now, when they began to slowly forget about it, its creators - Crypton Future Media decided to take an unprecedented step - to organize its "live" concert with the help of animated 3D holography. The article on Gizmodo partially explains how it was implemented. On the title video of this concert.

The parent of the first synthetic pop star is the Vocaloid software by the well-known Yamaha company, imitating a man's singing voice based on a given melody and text. Any program based on it can be divided into two parts: the system of voice synthesis (singing) and the library of performers. The voice of the singer is divided into small passages and recorded in the database. Further, the user types the text of the new work, enters notes, sets the rhythm, and Vocaloid automatically forms the song, selecting the phonemes and sounds corresponding to the text.
