It is not known, however, as far as, but Saudi Arabia has blocked access to the social network Facebook for all residents of the kingdom. It is worth noting that this resource is one of the most popular in this Muslim country. The reason for blocking, according to the authorities of Saudi Arabia, is that the nature of the resource does not correspond to the moral values of the people of this country. A more detailed explanation of this problem was not given.
The lock, apparently, was turned on this morning, and when someone from users living in Saudi Arabia tries to connect to the resource, a message is displayed that Facebook is not available. The official statement of the authorities also states that the moral values of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are not consistent with the content posted on the pages of the resource. It is quite clear that the leaders of Saudi Arabia do not like everything that is placed on the pages, including candid photos and other materials.
So far, the lock has been declared temporary, but, as we know, “there is nothing more permanent than temporary”. Perhaps, the leadership of Facebook will be able to somehow solve this problem, but this is also unlikely, because the authorities of Saudi Arabia need a special approach. In addition, no additional information on this issue is received from the country's leadership. Saudi Arabia is known as a strict Muslim country, which often prohibits those things that seem common to residents of Western countries.

It is worth noting that Facebook is already blocked not only in Saudi Arabia, but also in countries such as Syria, Iran, Pakistan. In October of this year, just a month ago, the Uzbek authorities announced that Facebook is also banned in this country. Since then, the Uzbek authorities have not made any comments on the issue, and the social network No. 1 in the world remains blocked for residents.
