Do you use keyboard control in Opera?

By writing this topic I was prompted by the topic You use the mouse control in the Opera? When I read the title, I already thought that they were talking about controlling the browser from the keyboard and my soul was filled with joy. However, what was my disappointment when I saw that this was a survey about the use of mouse gestures.

In the Opera there is a wonderful opportunity, which, unfortunately, very few people suspect. In the Opera, you can work almost without using the mouse. It would seem that many simple actions, such as opening and closing tabs without using a mouse, are possible both in IE and FF. But in the Opera everything is much more convenient! Opera allows you to move the focus to the address bar (F8) and back to the page (F9), scroll through the tabs in the order of their visit (Ctrl + Tab) or simply left-right (1 and 2). From the keyboard, you can move the focus across the frames on the page (3), minimize (4) and maximize (5) the window. Opera allows you to control the scale of the display of the page, this of course can also be done without touching the mouse: 100% scale is set by pressing 6 (or * on numpad'e), you can change the scale in 10% increments using the 9 and 0 buttons (or Numpad'e), in increments of 100% - buttons 7 and 8.

Separate attention deserves the navigation through the document. You can usually use the arrows, space and buttons PgUp, PgDn, Home, End. But Opera allows you to achieve even greater flexibility: the S and W buttons move you forward / backward through the headings, the D and E buttons move forward / backward through the text elements.

')

A and Q allow you to jump to the next or previous link on the page (you can also use Ctrl + Down and Ctrl + Up). But just moving to the next / previous link may be inconvenient if there are many links on the page (for example, on the forum page). And here we are come to the aid of the wonderful shortcuts Shift + Left, Shift + Right, Shift + Up and Shift + Down - they highlight the following link in the appropriate direction (i.e., left, right, top or bottom of the current one, and not the order in which they occur in the source page). Pressing Enter on the link is similar to the left click, Shift + Enter - shift + click (will open the link in a new tab or window, depending on the settings).

Ctrl + M brings up the context menu. Shift + I toggles the image display mode (show all / show only cached / do not show at all). I loads uploaded images in the cached images display mode. Shift + G switches the browser between Author and User mode.

Of course, it does not make sense to list all the controls using the keyboard. They are described in detail on the Opera website in the article Using Opera without a Mouse . My goal was only to give an idea of how much opportunity the Opera provides in this regard. I would be glad if someone from this article draws something useful for themselves and does its job in this wonderful browser even more convenient :)
