Belarusian tourist site caught in deception
The “tourist scandal” is raging in Bynet - the website Otdohni.by is accused of using illegal mechanisms to cheat site traffic and mislead Belarusian travel agencies, as well as deception of rating systems. All data and positions of Otdohni.by in the ratings were falsified.
According to the Akavita.by system, starting from June 10, Otdohni.by website suddenly ranked the rating in the category “Tourism, Travel, Nature”, having achieved an unrealistic number of 3511 people for Bynet on Sunday %), of which there were no regular visitors.
In addition, each "visitor" opened only one page of the site, that is, the number of hosts coincided with the number of hits. And this is in the complete absence of any Internet advertising.

Andrei Barashko, head of Holiday.by , reported in an e-mail that representatives of Akavita.by and Mail.ru acknowledged the use of illegal mechanisms by Otdohni.by, and now Otdohni.by is excluded from these systems.
