The Mozilla community today, November 9th,
celebrates the 6th birthday of Firefox, a browser used by about 400 million people around the world.
Mozilla was created more than 10 years ago as a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote openness and innovation on the Internet. Six years ago, Mozilla released Firefox 1.0.
Today, Firefox is available in over 70 languages. Almost a quarter of Internet users choose Firefox as their primary browser. More than 150 million people use Firefox extensions.

Firefox owes its success to the Mozilla community of tens of thousands of developers, localizers, testers and other contributors.
This year, to celebrate the birthday of Firefox, Mozilla asks for the help of users to demonstrate how people love and use Firefox in their part of the world. Just send a postcard with your Firefox message, and your FoxCard will be placed in the Mozilla office in Mountain View or Paris. At the same time you can even win something. There is more information on
the FoxCards Facebook page.
Also, developers will be grateful if you help
test Firefox 4 Beta and write your feedback.
