Today, police officers, FSB, SU ICC RF in the Volgograd region conducted a series of searches in the structural units of the regional administration - the Office of Investments and Development of the Governor’s Office, the Economy Committee, as well as the Regional Fund for the Promotion of Venture Investments, Green Energy, Meteylz, SKB Bank OJSC (Volzhsky). As reported to the Vysota 102 news agency in the law enforcement agencies, investigative actions were carried out as part of a criminal investigation into a large-scale fraud by a Moscow company The I-Man-Capital Management Company, which was identified by the Volgograd Foundation as a manager. In October of this year, the director of this company, Alexander Glukhovskikh, was put on the international wanted list by Interpol. According to preliminary data, 138 million rubles were stolen from the Fund for the Promotion of the Development of Venture Investments of the Volgograd Region. In addition, it was established that part of the funds from the Fund - more than 100 million rubles were transferred to the accounts of two firms registered for nominees for the implementation of fictitious business plans.
A complex of investigative actions is being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime committed. Searches were conducted at the place of work and residence of Yevgeny Semikin, who previously held the position of executive director of the Fund, head of the Agency for Investment and Development of the Volgograd Region, and now head of the Directorate for Investment and Development of the Governor’s Office.
