With this post I want to introduce you to our music site, to some extent, an alternative to last.fm, the change in the work of which was recently discussed .
So, our project is called FunSpace . In short, Fanspace is: a convenient player; large base of licensed music; download and store your own music; many good playlists you can share.

The base of licensed music is already quite significant - more than 500,000 tracks, and we are working on increasing it. In the meantime, if you cannot find any music, upload it to your account.
We have to pay copyright holders for listening to music, so we introduced a subscription system, but made it quite flexible. Premium subscription allows you to listen to all music without restrictions, it costs 299 rubles per month. You can also buy a subscription only to a specific playlist, it will be much cheaper - about 10 rubles. But you can use the service and without paying anything. You can listen to your downloaded music for free, the amount of downloaded music is not limited yet.
The playlist directory is filled with users until it is very large. You could contribute to the development of this directory, and for this we will issue a premium subscription. It is necessary to collect a playlist from the Fanspace database, using the search or upload your music, share this playlist on Facebook, Vkontakte or Twitter. In this case, on your account, we activate a premium subscription for the month. More information about this promotion can be found on the site itself .
I will also tell you a little about the project team. We are three students of the Physics and Technology Institute . Programmer, layout designer and ideologist-financial director. On the technical component, our programmer will write a separate post, and now he can answer any questions in the comments.
So far, the most basic functionality has been implemented, much more is planned: integration with lastfm, fast loading, gift playlists, etc. We will acquaint you with this in the following posts.
