I translate Smashingmagazine and Mashable

Hey.

Some time ago, caught fire another crazy ideas. I wanted to translate interesting in my opinion articles from Mashable, Smashingmagazine and others. For the simple reason that most of the resources first appear in the West, and then sooner or later come to us. The plans were to create such a clone of the “Russian branch” of the sites mentioned above, so that users would always be up to date with the latest information. But of course I wanted to post articles not only news, but also educational.

Fortunately, one good person cooled my ardor, and modestly hinted that there are enough clones of foreign sites in runet and so on. In general, this is the wrong way of the bright Jedi.

But, it remains enough, IMHO interesting materials and I'm not going to stop there.


I intend to continue, this is a copyright business. At a rate of 2-3 articles per week. I must say that the preparation of one takes a damn lot of time (more than 15,000 characters + pictures, and there are a lot of them in articles from SM). Each article must specify the source.

For seed:

PS At first I wanted to publish completely the topics on Habr, but the rules forbid it. Allow links. Since this is not a one-time event, I decided to publish the topic in “I am promoting”. And be there, that will be. With great pleasure I accept criticism and just comments.
