Targeted advertising market expects explosive growth

Companies have more than serious interest in targeted online advertising. An example of this is that in the last month four major deals were made: Google - DoubleClick, Yahoo! - Right Media, WPP Group - 24/7 Real Media and Microsoft - aQuantive.

Analysts from eMarketer are confident that global spending on targeted advertising will grow from $ 575 million in 2007 to $ 1 billion in 2008, and by 2011 the market volume will be $ 3.8 billion. An illustrative growth process is shown in the diagram.
