Hi% username%!
Everyone, or at least most, had to look for work on job sites.
It so happened that in Russia there are no interesting and large “niche” sites for finding work and hiring personnel in the field of IT.
In the USA and Europe, experts of various kinds have been looking for a job for a long time on these specialized sites. For example, Dice.com offers daily 70-75 thousand tech jobs to choose from.

Service search and job offers for information technology professionals.
Why we decided to create ITmozg.ru
The so-called “ITmozg” Stock Exchange?
About a year ago, I recruited people to my team and sharply ran into the problem of finding personnel in IT. I wondered how things are with my IT colleagues? Almost everyone faced with difficulty not only in finding personnel, but also in finding work. In Russia there are a huge number of job search sites and most of these sites are common, without any specialization.
So the idea came to create a highly specialized resource, where you can go and see the proposals of employers who are employed specifically in the field of IT.
How to run the project.
The project was originally developed as a hobby, only this summer it was decided to engage them tightly.
In November 2009, they began to develop the project, in December 2009, the alpha version of the portal became the winner of the Web Ready 2009 contest in the nomination “Audience Award”.
The project was developed in the evenings and nights, everything was done on their finances without outside involvement.
Passed completely through alfa testing on the target group.
In May 2010, launched a private Beta.
In September 2010, officially launched the service.
The main costs, probably like any other portal:
Hosting is now VPS, domains, advertising
Distinctive features of the service
• Video job vacancy and video resume
• Redesigned resume form for IT sphere.
• Autoposting vacancies on twitter
• The ability to enter the site without registering through OpenID (now Google, Yandex, Mail.ru)
For employers:
• Search by specific knowledge "in 1 click", for example, find candidates who know C ++ for 5 points out of 5 and also know Java for 2 points out of 5
• Import jobs "in 1 click" from the main Job sites
http://vimeo.com/14176346Findings. Where to go next?
• Now a “spider” is being tested, which will collect vacancies from employers' sites (the most delicious jobs =))
• Creation of a catalog of IT courses and certifications (with search by vendors, cities)
• Create IT calendar events
• Creating a library with articles and books (free and paid)
• We are working on a system for conducting online video interviews on the site.
For hardware, we are currently renting a VPS, although the Dell PowerEdge R410 server has already been ordered; 2xIntel Xeon E5620 16GB RAM
By mid-November we will move to our dedicated server.
We ordered a redesign of design and usability, we will update the site by the new year.
From November we will cover all major IT events and parties, wait for interesting reports!
On November 12,
GDD2010 we promise interesting photos and video reports!
