Google users can now register in Flickr through OpenID

Denise Leung announced that Google will be the first partner of Flickr in its implementation of OpenID for new registrations. Now anyone can sign up for Flickr using their Google account.



Flikra users registered earlier should still use Yahoo authorization data, but in Flickr they are already working on a solution that simplifies authorization for them as well.
