HP has officially announced HP webOS 2.0, the most significant platform update since its launch in 2009.
What's new?
True multitasking - allows you to keep multiple applications open and switch between them;
Just Type function - allows you to write letters, messages and statuses without opening applications;
HP Synergy - allows you to combine various ways of communication, in particular, Facebook, Google, Microsoft Exchange, LinkedIn and Yahoo !;
Exhibition function - when connected to a charging station, Touchstone displays, depending on the settings, a to-do list, a photo slideshow from Facebook or something else;
Adobe Flash Player 10.1 Beta - access to Flash-content.
HP also introduced the Palm Pre 2 smartphone from the Palm Pre line. This is the first Palm gigahertz processor. More information about him here: palm.com/Pre2 . ')
Pre 2 will be available on Friday in France from the operator SFR and, as planned, will be available in the coming months in the US with Verizon Wireless and in Canada.
The webOS 2.0 update will come to existing customers in the coming months, the exact dates will be announced later.
