Android 2.2 (Froyo) on the Galaxy S - at the end of October

The long-awaited update Android 2.2 (Froyo) officially announced. Residents of Russia will be able to put it on their Galaxy S smartphones already at the end of October - using the Kies program.

The Android 2.2 platform in Galaxy S for the Russian market offers a pre-installed navigation navigation system with voice prompting while driving and support for traffic display mode. In addition to this, navigation is provided in both pedestrian and car modes. Also, the Android 2.2 platform improves performance thanks to JIT (Just in Time) dynamic compilation technology.
