Incomprehensible hang

I found some kind of incomprehensible glitch - if you type in the address of your habracenter links to the existing first-level rewrite pages without trailing slashes, then Habr hangs up - the browser waits a long time for it to answer (more precisely, even from freak.habrahabr.ru ), and then returns that server not found.

I mean for example:
zerkella.habrahabr.ru/my
or
zerkella.habrahabr.ru/comments
etc.

An interesting such bug, but very inconvenient, since by default IE just saves in autocomplete addresses without a trailing slash. And, typing it in the address bar, you have to add a separate slash later.
