DevPoint 2. Results

DevPoint 2 successfully held. If anyone is not in the know DevPoint - this is a conference dedicated to leading technologies of development, testing and project management. The conference was held in Novosibirsk on October 2nd, on October 3rd and 4th, master classes were held.

Judging by the opinions of participants and speakers , DevPoint 2 is the first IT event of a similar level that takes place in Siberia. It is no longer necessary to go to Default City to listen to recognized Russian experts in the field of information technology and to communicate with them in an informal setting. Now it can be done in Novosibirsk - on DevPoint.

Speakers included Andrei Aksenov, author of the Sphinx search engine (Voronezh), Igor Sysoev, the creator of the nginx HTTP server (Moscow), Alexander Orlov (St. Petersburg), vice president of the Software Project Managers Guild and other IT gurus. Special thanks to our Novosibirsk speakers. And one more thing: I recommend paying special attention to Aksenov's annealing report “ Stop writing code ”.

The geography of the participants is extensive: around 300 people from Novosibirsk, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Tomsk, Abakan, Chelyabinsk and other Russian cities took part in the conference.

As part of the conference, master classes were held by Alexander Orlov (Happy-PM.com) and Alexey Barantsev (Software-Testing.Ru). Ilya Kantor (Javascript.ru) for the first time conducted his trainings in Novosibirsk. Personally, I was lucky enough to take part in a master class of Sasha Orlov - extremely useful and fascinating.

DevPoint 2 successfully combined cool reports with a free and friendly atmosphere. Participants praise the conference and say that the event was held at a very high level in terms of organization and quality of reports.
