Trojan Horse 3. beta

At the last conference of WWDC 2007, many spectacular things were presented. But to fascinate the already fanless audience is not tricky. Much more interesting to attract new adepts from the camp of competitors. Such a task clearly stood and the chosen solution turned out to be quite elegant.

What happened that could give an impetus to the growth of apple sales at the expense of windows users? How does Apple calculate to win the popularity of people who are not looking for anything better than windows?

The Apple website has made public the beta of their Safari browser under Windows. It would seem that there is such a thing? But the most important thing is that with all the instability, this program completely reproduces the MacOS interface and ideology (including font smoothing) in a single program under windows. This is a Trojan horse!

Yes, this is a program for windows (let's not talk about stability now - problems will be eliminated), but not only - this is a piece of MacOS under Windows! This is an easy and affordable way to get acquainted with MacOS and get used to its ideology without the stress of complete immersion in an unfamiliar environment.

It is understandable why the creators of Safari did not wait for the appearance of a stable version - this informational reason cannot be missed. Now the number of downloads of this browser will be maximum (and you can upgrade to a stable version later), which means more people will be able to take advantage of this opportunity.

I am sure that this move will trigger an increase in Mac sales, as well as contribute to increased competition in the “market” of Internet browsers.
