New snippets for websites of organizations
A new type of snippet with additional information appeared in the search results for Yandex. In the description of the organization’s home page, you can see various parameters describing the services it provides - for example, the type of restaurant’s cuisine, features of airport parking, or the availability of benefits for museum visitors.
For a long time, such additional information was shown in snippets only for hotel sites. Now the following types of organizations have been added to them: restaurants, pizzerias, cafes and coffee houses, bars and pubs, sports bars, cinemas, museums, airports, fitness clubs and driving schools.

These snippets help users quickly understand whether the organization they are interested in and also highlight its official website in search results.
Detailed data on organizations has been collected in the Organization Directory for some time . Until now, they only showed up on Yandex.Maps . Now passed to the search. The database of organizations is constantly updated, so over time such snippets will be more and more.
As practice has shown, such snippets are also interesting for the site owners themselves. Since the launch of such a description for hotels, we have received a huge number of applications for updating information about those hotels that were not well represented in our database. And now we invite the owners of other organizations to share information about themselves.
Data for the snippet is entered along with the address in the section “Geography of the site” -> “ Addresses and Organizations ” in the Yandex.Webmaster section. After the Rubric, to which the organization belongs, is selected, in the application form additional fields appear corresponding to its parameters. For those categories for which it is possible to display a special snippet, there is a preview in the form of how it will look.
If the organization has affiliates, each of them can have its own parameters, which will be shown in the snippet of the affiliate page. In the snippet of the main page of the network site, the same parameters are selected for most branches. It looks something like this .
