September 30, 2010 signed an agreement with Microsoft on Windows Phone 7
Samsung and Microsoft officially announced yesterday in London about joint cooperation in the smartphone market and the choice of Windows Phone 7 as one of the main operating systems for the company's smartphone line.
An agreement was signed, according to which devices based on WP7 and applications for it will be released in the markets of Europe, USA and Asia, and support Microsoft services such as Xbox LIVE, Office, Zune, Windows Live, Bing and others.
The specific deadlines for the development of the devices have not yet been determined; only at least three smartphones with Windows Phone 7 on board are known, which should be submitted immediately after the official release of this operating system. The network has information about other prototypes on WP7, but unofficial information so far indicates only the Samsung i8700, i917 and i916 models, as products with a commercial future. ')
In Russia, the apparatuses can be expected not earlier than 2011.
