This morning, to be exact, then on September 29, 2010 at 2:00 pm Tokyo time, a Nintendo conference was held, at which they announced the start date of sales, the price and a number of features of the new console.
The start date of sales in Japan is February 26, 2011. 3DS will be sold at a price of 25,000 yen (approximately $ 300). Wii started at the same price in Japan, so in other countries it’s worth waiting for the Wii price level. Launch in other countries is scheduled for March 2011.
The design has not changed much compared to the version presented at E3. The console starts in two colors: blue (Aqua Blue) and black (Cosmos Black).
The menu has become even more Wii-like, besides from the elder brother on 3DS, features such as Virtual Console and the creation of Mii have arrived. VC will allow you to run Gameboy and Gameboy Advance games.
The first video shows how the so-called tag mode (data exchange between consoles in sleep mode), gameplay, creating Mii using Mii Studio, as well as the actions assigned to the new home button (presumably the implementation of multitasking).
The second video is Software Line-up of the new console.
