UN appoints representative for contact with aliens

A few days ago, the head of UNOOSA, an astrophysicist from Malaysia Mazlan Othman, spoke at a scientific conference in front of the Royal Scientific Society in the UK. She said that the latest discoveries of hundreds of planets in other star systems make it more realistic than ever to meet extraterrestrial life.
