Google has developed a plugin for MS Office

It sounds strange, but it is. At a conference in Paris, Google representatives conducted a demonstration of the DocVerse plugin for MS Office 2007. With which you can save documents from MS Office directly to Google Docs servers. It was also shown how the formatting of documents looks like, if you save them from one machine and open it to another. That is, supported and functional group editing.

This plugin is based on the product of the company DocVerse, which Google bought in December 2009.

DocVerse plugin is still under development. “This version was compiled just two days ago,” a Google spokesman said, without giving any information about the official release date.
