Dell Inspiron Duo - a hybrid of netbook and tablet
We can say that Dell has just literally introduced the concept of a new class of devices - a hybrid of a netbook and tablet, in the form of a device called the Dell Inspiron Duo .
To attribute the device to a certain of the existing classes is difficult, since there is no such, but many have already managed to give it the name "convertible".
What is so unique about Dell Inspiron Duo in its design and what is inside? Externally, the Dell Inspiron Duo is a classic netbook with a 10 "screen based on Windows 7.
However, a slight rotation of the screen (it is in principle that the screen rotates that its revolutionism is hidden) it turns into a tablet on the same Windows 7 but with a redesigned UI for the “tablet” side of the device.
The new model will work based on the Intel Atom N550 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor, 1 or 2 Gb of DDR3 and HDD RAM (the dimensions of which have not been announced yet). Dell Inspiron Duo will be equipped with almost all standard I / O ports found in classic netbooks.
Of course, there is no information about the approximate prices for the Dell Inspiron Duo, as well as specific dates for the start of sales. However, Dell has promised that users will be able to buy a Dell Inspiron Duo by the end of this year.
