In 2007, the
site “Get Elasic” published an interesting selection of “Add to Cart” buttons from various online stores, accompanied by some analysis of the inscriptions and the appearance of the buttons. I decided that it would be useful to refresh this topic. More than two hundred “Put in the basket” buttons were collected, including from the sites of the most popular online merchants.

Button colors
The following colors are typically used for highlighting buttons: red, blue, gray / black, green, orange, pink or yellow.
Gray (or black) and red are the most popular choices — fractions of about 20% each, followed by green and blue - more than 15% each. Regardless of the color of the buttons, inscriptions are most often made in white.

Take a look at the statistics on the inscriptions. "Add To Cart" is the undisputed favorite with a share of 56%. It should be said that the collection mainly presents websites oriented to the USA, while in Britain “Add To Basket” will be much more popular than in the states.
