Nigma conducts national rebranding

nigma.rf
Intellectual search engine Nigma.ru changed its name to Russian “Nigma.RF” .
According to statistics, the most search engine users live in Russia - 71.6%. Then comes Ukraine with almost 15% and Kazakhstan with Belarus - 6%. The conducted marketing research has shown that it is easier for the Russian-speaking user to remember and type addresses written in Cyrillic than in Latin letters. The new logo emphasizes that the search engine is focused on the Russian-speaking user.

Victor Lavrenko, head of the development team: “We believe that Cyrillic domains will soon become very popular in Russia. For example, according to the 2002 census, in Russia only 4.8% of the population speak English. Therefore, for marketers and advertisers, Cyrillic domains open up new opportunities for working with a wider audience. ”
