Android is a young and promising system, but the infrastructure around it leaves much to be desired. This was also understood by HTC, which is why in 2009 they created the shell of HTC Sense. This time everything went much further: at a press conference in London, the web service
HTCSense.com was presented .
This service is designed to facilitate the configuration of the new HTC phone, and it will also allow access to all mobile phone content: contacts, SMS messages, call history. If your Android smartphone has been lost, HTCSense.com will help determine its location, make it ring out loud, even if the phone is in silent mode, set SMS forwarding to another number, delete all personal information and data from the microSD card, etc. .

Apparently, HTCSense.com is using Google’s new Cloud service introduced at Google IO in May. Thus, Google does not create a single infrastructure around Android, but encourages vendors to create additional services for the platform. Will this lead to further fragmentation of the platform? Time will tell.
Comment from an eyewitness:
Even from the “delicious”: through this interface, you can enable call forwarding and SMS (!) From your forgotten home phone (of course, this should be the NTS from HTC Sense 2.0) to any other phone number. If your phone is lost, you can see its current position on the map and, if necessary, issue a command to completely reset the device (the card will also be cleared!).Photos of the new interface:
