ARM announces new Eagle core in Cortex-A15 processor

On September 8, the new Cortex-A15 processor with support for 4 cores and up to 2.5Ghz frequency, hardware virtualization and addressing more than 4 GB of memory (theoretical limit of 1 terabyte) was announced. The processor has already acquired licenses of ST-Ericsson, Samsung and Texas Instruments. Mass production of new processors will begin in 2012-2013 with 35 / 28nm technology.
