As Steve Jobs announced at the event on September 1, a new version of the Apple Axis appeared today - iOS4.1


The owners of the following devices will be able to upgrade to it:

• iPhone 4;
• iPhone 3GS;
• iPhone 3G;
• iPod touch 2nd generation or newer.

What's new?

• Game center
  • send and receive friend requests;
  • inviting friends to play with multiple participants via the Internet;
  • games with several participants through auto-match with other players;
  • view tables of results and achievements;
  • receiving information about new games from friends;
• photos with the effect of "High Dynamic Range" (HDR) on iPhone 4
• iTunes TV Show Support
• the ability to download HD videos to YouTube and MobileMe from iPhone 4 via Wi-Fi
• additional support for accessories that support the AVRCP profile, including managing the next and previous track
• FaceTime video conferencing directly from Favorites
• bug fixes, including fixes in the following areas :
  • iPhone 4 Proximity Sensor;
  • iPhone 3G performance ;
  • bug fixes for Nike + iPod;
  • Bluetooth enhancements.
