On August 26, the first brick was laid in the construction of the Agile community in Latvia.
The methodology in Latvia is widely known and used by many companies, but for some reason this event was organized only now.
The event raised a lot of interesting questions and discussions. The topic is interesting, there are people to share with. It is also necessary to visit other countries for similar events, to learn from experience.
Despite the non-standard time of the meeting, a lot of people came.

Srcum adoption in Estonia - ENG - Alek Kozlov, Scrum.ee
The presentation gave a little insight into Agile events in Estonia. On the practices used in various well-known companies. It was also announced about new meetings on the part of Estonia in Ukraine and in Russia.
Personal Agility - ENG - Dmitry Lebedev, Idea Port Riga
Various ways of self-improvement in professional terms. Useful tips as well as reasons for failures. The basic idea: start small, but start right now.
TDD - ENG or LAT - Raimonds Simanovskis, TietoEnator Alise
Various usefulness of this development approach. This and less bugs and design systems more beautiful and just this FAN.
Unit Testing in practice - RUS - Denis Udod, CTCo
Intersects with the previous topic, but at a slightly different angle. I know this speaker very well, he was my coach at the time. If the previous presentation was from a person who only gets acquainted with the TDD, then the position of this speaker was very well supported by his experience in this field.
Agile Myths - ENG - Dmitry Buzdin, CTCo
Various myths from both the developer and the manager with personal evaluation and experience.
Distributed Scrum - ENG - Stanislav Vasilyev, Ignite.ee
Small tips and pitfalls on the organization of the work of remote development teams.
We look forward to new meetings. According to the organizers, the next one is planned in November. I would like to see from Russia representatives among the presenters.
