RubyConfUa 2010 Conference

The first full-length two-day conference of RubyConfUa 2010 will be held in Kiev, October 16-17. The main objective of the event is to create a comfortable platform for communication and exchange of experience among Ruby developers from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and the CIS countries.

The event will include:

* two technical sessions;
* business section;
* demonstration of Ruby projects;
* workshops for beginners;
* interviews with special guests;
* A lot of useful and interesting communication.

The conference will be attended by specially invited guest José Valim (@josevalim) - founder and developer of Plataforma Tec, participant of the Rails Core Team. He started working with Ruby and Rails in late 2006. The result of the active work on Rails during Google Summer of Code 2009 was the invitation in the Rails Core Team a few months later. His enthusiasm and sense of purpose contribute to the creation of new and the development of existing open source projects. He also maintains a company blog.

We invite Ruby developers to take an active part in the formation of the program. Applications for reports are accepted until September 1. The program of the event will be published on September 14.

Open pre-registration for listeners. If you register and pay before September 1, participants receive a 50% discount.

Registration fee is:

* 200 UAH or 770 rubles or $ 26 if paid before September 1
* 400 UAH or 1540 rubles or $ 52 for payments after September 1.

Speakers of RubyConfUa and previous RubyBarcamp events are exempt from payment.

Full-time students receive a 50% discount if they have a student card.

If you refuse to participate in the event and notify three days before the start, we will refund your registration fee (excluding bank charges). In another case, the registration fee is not refundable.

Each master class consists of two parts of 80 minutes and a 20 minute break.
Master classes will be held in parallel with the main events of the conference.
You have the opportunity to listen to the entire series or choose a separate master class.
The group of listeners is designed for 15 places.
The cost of participation in one master class - 250 UAH.
