Mobiles.co.uk has confirmed that HTC Desire Z and Desire HD will soon be added to the range of Google phones from HTC. Models will be demonstrated at the conference on September 15.

As reported on the site, Desire HD will work on the latest version of Android 2.2 (FroYo) with HTC Sense UI and will be equipped with a 4.3 inch touchscreen display, 1 GHz processor, 8 megapixel camera with the ability to record video in 720p. About prices yet said nothing.

The Amazon UK online store has suddenly started taking pre-orders. The error was promptly corrected, but they managed to make a screenshot in confirmation. In the UK, HTC Desire HD will appear at a price of 415 pounds ($ 650).

More interesting is the Desire Z smartphone, which will come with Android version 2.1 with Sense shell (most likely, will be upgraded to FroYo soon), a full-fledged slide-out QWERTY-keyboard, 3.7-inch touchscreen, 1 GHz processor, support for HSPDA and Wi-Fi . About the prices of the smartphone as nothing is known.
