Have you ever wondered where thousands of tons of computer waste go? I think each of us has a small cemetery of computers. Photographer Peter Hugo visited Ghana (a country in West Africa) there live their computer geniuses. The giant dump with the nearby slums does not cease to smoke, every gram of metal is expensive.
The Russian iron market is much smaller than the global one, but I think there are a couple of such dumps in Russia. Moore's Law played a bad joke with us. Every time we make an update to our computer, we do not think what will happen with the old components. In many regions of our planet, recycling is not as progressive as modern technology.
