A new version of the kit for workstations and home computers has been released - Ubuntu DesktopPack 10.04.1

This is not just another Linux distribution; it is a bundle that includes:

• original distribution kit of Ubuntu Desktop Linux 10.04;
• updates, additional drivers for hardware;
• A wide range of competent selection of additional software (more than 350 applications): office work, work with accounting, work with graphics, sound and video, educational programs, programming, engineering tasks, etc. - everything you need to complete the work in any area of ​​tasks at home both at work and in educational institutions;
• there are also: documentation, manuals, electronic versions of popular magazines and books on the subject of Linux OS and training video tutorials (all material in Russian).

Who will be primarily interested in this kit:

• for anyone who wants and wants to get acquainted with the operating system GNU / Linux - the package includes convenient selection and installation of programs, accompanied by a brief description and purpose;
• who does not know what programs for the GNU / Linux OS are and where to find them;
• who decided to switch from MS Windows to GNU / Linux;
• to install Ubuntu Linux and applications on a computer that does not have an Internet connection, or on which the connection speed is slow or expensive traffic;

• added support for UDF and JFFS2 file systems (flash drives) and exFAT support;
• improved support for playing licensed DVDs;
