Gmail is becoming more and more like a desktop client. Not so long ago, they introduced drag-and-drop to attach files to a letter, and now they implemented the inverse operation - transfer of attachments to a folder or to a desktop.
To transfer a file, you need to grab onto its icon or the “Download” link. You can also take the link “Download all attachments” - and drag all attachments at once. ')
The feature works so far only in Google Chrome 5+, but will automatically work in other browsers as soon as they implement support for HTML5 File APIs.
