Pricing for Office for Mac 2011 and other information announced

Microsoft in its press release officially announced the price of a new version of the Office suite for the Mac platform. The package will be released in late October 2010 and will be available in all regions until the end of the year.

It is planned to publish three editions of the package:

1. Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Messenger) - version with one license will cost $ 119; Family Pack with three licenses will cost $ 149;
2. Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Messenger and Outlook) - version with one license will cost $ 199, Multi-Pack with two licenses will cost $ 279;
3. Microsoft Office for Mac Academic 2011 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Messenger) - the version for students, teachers and staff of educational institutions will cost $ 99.

When purchasing Office for Mac 2008 from August 1, 2010 to November 30, 2010, the customer will have the opportunity to upgrade to Office for Mac 2011 free of charge.

Office for Mac 2011 will be available in 13 languages: Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Spanish, and Swedish. In addition, two more languages ​​will be introduced later: Polish and Russian.
