July 24 in St. Petersburg with the support of
Beeline , the
first urban barcamp of mobile technologies 3gCamp was held . Anyone could make a presentation on the topic, share his vision of the present and future of telecommunications. The main purpose of the event was the formation of a mobile community, collecting in one place interested from St. Petersburg to exchange views and knowledge about mobile communications.
Let's see how it was.
Morning greeted us with rain. After seeing the weather on Yandex, a good sunny day was promised, but it cleared up only during the day. One thing was good, it was pretty cool and the participants did not immediately begin to heat up (in the city now almost every day at 35 degrees). I wonder how many weather stopped :)
The event took place in Ingria's business incubator, who kindly agreed to help with the barcamp. This format was unusual both for Beeline and for the technopark, but everything that was needed was already there. Tribune, a projector and, of course, Twitter broadcasting on the wall :)
')
On Twitter, people ignited and led one of the most active discussions of all the events in the business incubator:
The room was stuffy, but the people actively participated in the discussion and did not turn sour. And for those who suddenly became sad, this sadness was arrested and they did not give up until the end of the barcamp :)
At the beginning, Aleksey Ogonykov, Head of the Beeline Product Division in the North-West Region, spoke. And exclusively presented the Autosearch service, which is about to be officially announced. It allows you to monitor your wife (and not only :) by attaching a GSM sensor to the car
There was also an experiment with a video report of the participant who could not come directly to Ingria. Questions he did not ask :)
The reports were very heterogeneous, ranging from geosocial networks to the adaptation of the big Internet to the mobile:
And in the breaks, participants were provided with cookies, tea and coffee. At lunch, there were famous sandwiches. There were so many of them that many had to take them with them :)
At the end of the most persistent speakers awarded striped prizes
After the event, some of the participants went to the aftepati to drink beer, but this is a completely different story :) In general, it was interesting to get together, chat and eat :) I think all the mistakes and, conversely, some finds in the event will be collected, analyzed and This 3gCamp will not be the last!
For those who could not attend, the site contains a photo report, a video broadcasting record, and you can also download the reports themselves:
