Yahoo! Japan has signed an agreement with Google

Despite the agreement on the use of Microsoft search technologies on Yahoo! sites, the Japanese division of the company decided to change the search system on its resources in favor of Google. This contract could take place due to the fact that Yahoo! owns only 35% of Yahoo! Japan, and a controlling stake (40%) belongs to the Japanese telecom giant Softbank.

Yahoo! declares that the Japanese daughter took this step as an independent company and had no influence on the Yahoo! and Microsoft this deal will not render. Nevertheless, the appearance of Google in this relationship, Microsoft clearly should not be happy.
