image Finished translating the fourth chapter of the book on Blender Game Engine “Blender GameKit 2”


The chapter describes the process of creating a game in the style of the First Person Shooter. For shots and enemy behavior when hit, a bunch of BGE elements and Blender animation curves are used.
The described techniques are universal and will be useful when prototyping games of any genre.

Before mastering this chapter, I highly recommend reading Chapter 3 of the book, which describes the basics of the Blender Game Engine.

I suggest everyone to participate in the adaptation of the book under Blender 2.5. You will need to complete the lessons in Blender 2.5 and make screenshots similar to those available.
